We are going to be taking down cPanel 3 for a hard drive swap at 8:00 p.m. pacific time. The down time should be minimal and will be back online very quickly.
Thank you,

I am a regular reader of Slashdot.org and a number of other websites that haven't yet "jumped the shark" (unlike digg.com). Slashdot had a story yesterday that caught my attention. Here's a link to the Slashdot story

and to the original article

My reason for posting this is two fold:
1) How much spam are you getting? Do you feel that most of the email you get is garbage?
2) Use the opportunity to plug our Premium mail services. I went from dozens of spams overnight to just 3 last night. BIG difference!
So, how much spam are YOU getting?

My response, being a hard core Linux user, was "Well, to me a computer without Windows is like a dog without a brick tied to its tail." Thus began a friendly rivalry that continues almost daily. But really which one is better?

Today I went to my orthopedic doctor once more to find out if I get my left hand back. Good news; I do, but with limitations. I cannot ride my bicycle yet, but I can use it for just about anything else. For example, I'm now typing with two hands again. There is a lot of pain because my tendons have tightened up from the immobilization. I also have to be careful not to let anything impact my hand, since that could cause it to rebreak at this early stage.
Coming up soon:
Choosing the right tool for the job (and how it can save the day!)
Dvorak, and why keyboards are the way they are.
